Ingredients

  • 500g boneless chicken, cut into cubes

  • 1 cup plain yogurt

  • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder

  • 1 teaspoon garam masala

  • Salt to taste

  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • 1 cup tomato puree

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 teaspoon kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves), crushed

  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

Marinate Chicken:

In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Marinate the chicken in this mixture for at least 2 hours.

Cook Chicken:

Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and fully cooked.

Prepare Gravy:

In another pan, melt the remaining butter. Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates. Stir in heavy cream and kasuri methi. Simmer for a few minutes.

Combine Chicken and Gravy:

Add the cooked chicken to the tomato and cream mixture. Simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes.

Garnish and Serve:

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with naan or rice.
