Ingredients

  • 200g paneer (cottage cheese), cut into cubes

  • 1 cup thick yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste

  • 1 tablespoon gram flour (besan)

  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder

  • 1 teaspoon garam masala

  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks

  • 1 onion, cut into rings

  • Skewers, soaked in water

  • Oil for grilling or baking

Prepare Marinade:

In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, salt, and lemon juice to form a smooth marinade.

Marinate Paneer:

Add paneer cubes to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 1-2 hours in the refrigerator.

Assemble Skewers:

Thread marinated paneer cubes, bell pepper chunks, and onion rings alternately onto the soaked skewers.

Grill or Bake:

Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat. Grill or bake the skewers, turning occasionally, until the paneer is golden brown and has grill marks.

Serve hot with mint chutney and lemon wedges.
